Hello everyone,

We decided to put our actions where our mouth is. We believe that beds should benefit from a reduced VAT rate of 5%.

That's what we're offering you today: the opportunity to invest in new bedding with a reduced VAT tax, and we will pay for the difference.

Back in December, Julien wrote on the blog that you should get a tax rebate when you buy bedding. His thesis was backed up by powerful arguments (see post). If you think about it, sleeping is a basic need like eating and drinking, but beds still get a 17,5% V.A.T. (and food doesn't...) Unfortunately it wasn't sufficient to raise lawmakers' awareness on the issue.

So we've decided to take action and give you a discount equivalent to a VAT rebate to its reduced rate. This discount goes on every product in our catalog. There is no fine print! All of our bedding items benefit from the sale until May 24th, 5p.m.
