Here is the reason behind my long silence : we've been working a lot to improve our product presentation pages!! And we started using the brand new one yesterday evening

Look at the result on the fatboy beanbag for example, or on the Restmaster adjustable from Rest assured, or simply on a bed from Silentnight.

We think it will make it easier to sort out the colour choice for bed linen, or the storage for beds. It also allows to display more images. We will now have to work on quite a lot of different things: increase the number of images available per product. Make new pictures for the colors... Increase the quality of our product description. Lots of work still.

What I love in this job is it never stops to get better, or at least so I hope :-)

But hey, what do you guys think about the new layout. Is it easy to use? and to understand?

Great news today on our delivery side!

As you know, we are offering a next day one man bed delivery service before noon for UK outside the M25. This service as two great benefits: swiftness and schedule convenience (with the before noon delivery, or even before 9.30 for a £15 extra). But we know it has one disadvantage: the one man part of it, which prevents bedroom delivery.

So, we are testing a new delivery service which will allow us to offer 2 men bedroom delivery in mainland UK, exactly as we offer it within the M25. Disposal, assemblies should be available too at an extra cost. And it should make bulky returns even easier! It will take up to 10 extra days to get delivered that way (although mostly less than 7) and you will be able to book a 2 hour time slot or request a phone call 30 mn prior to delivery. So this time we clearly do solve the problem of the full white glove service at delivery.

As we are just testing this service right now, we will not input in the bedeezee website checkout but we will randomly propose this service to our customers. If you want to be a guuinea pig for this service, please give us a call or ask for it when we confirm your order!

Good news for all new parents: our prices on baby mattresses have dropped by up to 25% following the new negotiations with babywise and our new carrier.

As a result, our prices are now among the best on the market (I didn't find anybody cheaper than us on the same products anyway). Have you guys seen it cheaper somewhere else?

Bedeezee charges delivery in the following:

• £7 for any orders under £100 (mostly bed linen, quilts and pillows)
• £17.5 for any orders between £100 and £300 (Value for money mattresses, beds, etc...)

We choose to charge delivery to avoid integrating the cost of delivery into all single products. Doing this is of no advantage to people buying a single product but is of great disadvantage for people buying several products. Example:

• In the case delivery is "FREE" (only really possible on expensive products), the cost for delivery is taken into account in the price of the product. For a pillowcase, this would mean a pair of pillowcases around £12.99.
• In the case the delivery is charged (up to the expensive products), the cost is the real cost of the product £5.99 a pair. If you buy one, it's the same price £12.99. If you buy two, you already win £7. And if you add a few other sheets, then you keep winning without degrading the service!

So that was this morning! For now, you will though benefit from FREE DELIVERY ON ALL ORDERS.

All you need to do now is go back to Bedeezee!!!

Just to let you know Bedezee's call center has expanded its opening hours from 9am to 7pm (instead of 6). So feel free to call us during those hours.

Quite a long time without blogging but I was quite busy. Sorry about that: when I think I had pledged to write every three days....

Anyway, quite surprising to hear about chimps at an online bed & bedding retailer, no?

That's what we thought too when we received an email asking us if we had any used or returned textile products we could send out for them (the chimps and monkeys of course).

One person contacted us as she had adopted a monkey from Monkey world. It's a place in Dorset, kind of like a zoo but with only monkeys that have quite sad stories (pets being abandoned at petrol stations, or found wandering in the streets) or that are retired (after a model or actor career if you see it by the bright side). Monkey world tries to offer them a place where they're being taken care of.

In this taking care of process, they offer you to adopt a chimp! And try to help them offer her/him a better future than past. I think I like Tuan most!!

It's also according to a lot of websites (and Donal, one of your salespersons) a great day out in Dorset!! (It's open to the public in order to raise consciousness and get some funding I guess)
