Go well, colleagues!!
Just a quick post to wish to all the Bedeezee employees that are sick a swift recovery.
Indeed, it's like the sahara in the offices now as half the people have called in sick today... And there was no christmas party yesterday (at least that I know of)!
The day has been tough for us and I hope not too much for our customers!
Good night!

Beds sale record!
Hi everybody,
Just wanted to thank you all for our record breaking week end! It's the week end we had the most orders
since we started the company! Record bed sales, yahooo!
Thank you everybody for your confidence. Let's hope it goes on like this...We will do whatever we can: At least you can see on this picture, we're looking into buying our new speedy delivery vans....
Also we had a great review by one of our customers which finishes like this:
"This has helped my internet usage 100% as now my wife thinks its brilliant, having been to all the Bed shops in Leicester and found that your price was very good."
I am very happy with this review as it's the best compliment we can receive I think. All internet retailers with a little vision are fighting for two things: their products and services of course (against direct competition) but also he's fighting (although less and less) to convince that the Internet is more than just price: it's about offering a new way of shopping, which leaves free time for the rest of your life!
I hope that soon this customer won't even go the shops anymore to win money of course but mostly to win time, and to gain in convenience ;-)
See you soon

Excuses
Hi everybody,
Just a quick post to present our apologies to Mr H. in Birmingham. Some products were missing at the delivery. This was due to a human mistake at the dispatch of the order.
Instead of sending 4, only one pillow protector was sent. The quantity was not checked!!
Our deepest apology for this! The missing parts are being sent out today!
Have a nice week end all!

Let's get a tax credit for our beds!!
7p a night!! That's what we're spending in the UK on average for our sleep according to a new review made by Silentnight!!
The maths are simple:
Hypotheses
- The average spent on a bed in the UK is £269 (5% less than 5 years ago)
- People keep their bed 12 years on average
Results
£269/ (12x365) = £0.061, it is 365 days over 12 years. Even if you consider you're not sleeping on your bed when you're away 65 days a year (that's a lot of holidays or a very traveling job), you still end up with 7.4p a night!!!
When I think at everything I spend that's worth over 7p per day, I'm quite amazed!!!
I pay more for my council tax than to sleep!! (My bed is paid by my landlord and I didn't manage to have him change for a £600 mattress, still just 16p a night!).
This gives me an idea: we should ask for a tax credit for the value of our beds!
When we buy a new bed, a lot of studies shows that we increase our sleeptime by up to 53mn! Not by increasing our sleeping time but simply because we don't wake up so much and we rest better.
When we sleep well, we work better. (Whoever says he works welll when yawning all day and can actually prove it can send his CV to jobs@bedeezee.com). When we work well, we generate more sales/results, and we generate more tax for the state through company tax and income tax! First reason to get a credit!
When we sleep well, we're also less sick and more resistant. Also, we will get less back problems. This will come out as a substantial saving for NHS. Another reason to get a tax break!
I'm just starting here. I must think at a way to advertise this!!! :-)))
7p a night! 10% of the can of coke I drank today...
60p/2mn of thirst 25p/7-8h of sleep
Wish you all good nights to come!!

Fast delivery on bed linen!!
Hi everybody,
We've got good news for you today as our bed linen range is now much quicker to deliver... We now stock a lot more products from our bed linen range in an intermediate warehouse and everything which was available on a 3 weeks lead time will now take a maximum of 5 days to get to you!!! All this with not the single penny increase on your delivery cost!!
This is very good news as it will allow us to be quicker and more reliable on our deliveries. We hope our already quite popular range of sheets, pillowcases and duvet covers will be even more successfull so! Especially as we stock now the odd sizes such as small single and small double!
Please still refer to our website to spot occasionnal shortage of products (if everything was perfect, life wouldn't be as fun, would it?) but they should be the exceptions from now on!
Immediate link to our complete bed linen range here and a few examples below!!
Also check us out soon as we are going to use this new facility to increase our range and get more designs! I'll let you know as soon as this is done!
See you soon and good nights!

Visco reponse bed & mattress
We've just added a great mattress (and divan set) today @ bedeezee: The Matelsom Visco response 1500!!

It has 2 main features:
- 1500 pocket springs! On a single layer!
- A layer of visco (or memory foam) on top of a bultex foam
Very well indeed, but what's great about it?
First, it's a spring mattress, which means you'll have reassuring little bouncing effect and resistance when you will lay in (compared to a fully foam mattress into which you will sink straight away)
Then, it's the best type of spring unit: pocket springs. Each spring is encapsulated in a closed textile pocket (this results in a slight precompression in the spring that limits the bouncing effect). The textile pockets are then glued together (sometimes knitted). The main advantage is that each sleeper sleeps his/her own night as the textile prevents movements accross the mattress. It also allows the mattress to react differently to the weight of your head, bum, feet. It fits as well as spring can to your bodyshape.
In the end, there's 1500 on a single layer! Which mean the springs are quite small. The smaller they are, the better they fit to the bodyshape! And the more sleeping independance!!
So that's for the unit, but the fillings also prove very good: memory foam is (rightly) the buzz nowadays. It's a foam that warms up to body heat and once warm molds to the body which increases the backcare support!!
Sometimes, people tend to feel it's too soft and they feel they're laying on modelling clay. Not on this product: that's were the Bultex foam comes in!! It's a firmer foam used in foam mattresses (Bultex is the 2nd manufacturer in France) and sofas for example. It offers a underlayer to compensate the sinking in of memory foam.
All this is a bit technical. The conclusion is that it's a really well balanced mattress and it offers a very good sleeping experience!! And it's in stock in double and king size for next day delivery!
Clearly recommended for all those who don't always have the time for a good night's sleep!

New bedsteads @ bedeezee!!
Hi everybody,
Since yesterday, we've got a whole new range of bedsteads from a scandinavian company, check them out here.
I think they look great. I like their contemporary/modern style and I would love to have one home.
And the quality's there too!!
I think my favourite is the Curve, or maybe the R&C.
What about you?

Kelkoo & Bedeezee
Hi everybody,
Just a quick post to let you know that you can now see Bedeezee's products on Kelkoo. It's not very easy to find them yet but it should get better over the next few days...
I was quite surprised to see that on their homepage the Home & Garden area only offers a shortlink towards Power tools, and garden & leisure... I would have thought Home = Furniture... Also I hope we will be able to improve the bed area to make it more user -friendly...
Anyway, kelkoo is a great website and a great comparator, I hope we will stand out!
See you
